I have a free couple of hours today because university students are on strike (huelga) -- none of the American students are really sure against what. We think it might be homework. In any case, I'm using the extra time to catch up on yesterday's primaries and get ready for my trip to Madrid tomorrow. A bunch of fancy Georgetown alumni events are going on there this weekend, so a lot of the Georgetown students studying in Spain are going to be there. It's really just an excuse for everyone to see each other, get a picture of Prince Felipe (SFS alum) and potentially drink with the Jesuits.

I visited and re-visited a lot of the sights with my parents last weekend. It was wonderful and exhausting to see the city from a tourist's perspective again. I finally toured Seville's famous bullring, the Real Maestranza, and I'm really looking forward to bullfighting season, which starts on Easter. I took a bunch of photos, including the ones below, which are all up in my Facebook album.

Seville is starting to warm up and more friends and family are visiting. We can kind of sense ourselves reaching the halfway point. It's a good feeling to know that we have a few months to go, but that home is almost in sight.
