We spent this morning at the ruins of Itálica, a Roman city founded in 206 B.C. and still somewhat preserved. It's a 20-minute drive from Sevilla, and it houses the third-largest amphitheater (seating 25,000) of the Roman Empire. The city is still being excavated. For some reason, there were cats everywhere. I brought my digital camera as well as my SLR because I'm hoping to use the photo lab at the university, at least so I can document my time abroad in a more interesting way. Here are a few photos minus the details because I have to go to a pre-registration meeting shortly.
